beautiful dress! Personally, I would go with a size of just because spandex velcro can cause itching and a cordon put a thin line pressure on my waist and probably causes a kind of nodular form. It sounds very impressive … to reach the second to last line … Material: gold 18-SIMULATION carat white diamond … not pay much for it .. Sorry. Hi, I bought the rights to my wedding photo’s, and the photographer said that I can use them on social networking sites and even sell them to magazines. There are some very beautiful shots, and I am interested in trying to sell them. How would I go about this?
I work for a few bridal magazines designing layouts and dealing a lot with what images get placed in the issues, and I can tell you from my experience that the publications I work for don’t generally buy wedding photos.
How it works is local photographers submit weddings that they have shot for the season, in hopes of getting their work placed in the magazine. In exchange for the magazine using the photos, the photographer gets their name credited which helps to bring in potential clients. In articles where photos haven’t been submitted we look on stock photo websites like Corbis or we back track to the previous issue’s submissions.
Like I mentioned above, this has only been my experience. I don’t know how all the other wedding magazines are run. My advice would be to try to sell your photos to stock photo websites if you want money, but I don’t think that’s the right thing to do if you don’t credit the photographer because it is their work and not yours.
I recently received an invitation to a bridal shower for a woman i have not spoken to for fifteen years. The shower date is next weekend and the wedding is the weekend after, according to the newspaper. I didn’t get invited to the wedding. The invitation to the shower came addressed to me at my parent’s house…but I have moved away and gotten married myself and so the envelope doesn’t even have the correct name on it (not really important, I know, but it just shows how much we know about each other).
I have no plans of going, and i know you are typically supposed to send a gift if you are unable to attend, but I don’t think it is required in this case. I think the invitation was kind of rude–it just listed the time and place of the shower and a list of about 15 places that the bride had registered.
If you’re not invited to the wedding, do you have to send a shower gift if you are not going to go to the shower?
I try to have the best manners I can, even when those around me obviously do not. In this case, I wouldn’t worry about appearing rude. It isn’t a case of “she didn’t know any better”, it is obviously a grab for gifts on her part. You never invite someone to the shower and then not invite them to the wedding, and showers are not an occasion to invite everyone you’ve ever met in your life. You are supposed to invite your close friends and family members.
If I were you, I’d send a regrets card, and that’s it…or if you don’t mind spending a little money to make a point, send her an etiquette book.
I really want a petticoat but I don’t know where to get one. I don’t want an expensive petticoat, and don’t say a bridal store or hot topic. White or black will do perfectly.
Lets see… You should be able to find one on e-bay for really cheap. But if you want to buy it new then any store that sells costumes or emo clothing should have them.
