Davids Bridal Slippers

Anyone know David’s Bridal’s sizing chart?

I just went the other day to my local David’s Bridal and happily found I fit perfectly into a certain size no matter which dress I tried on. This is great because I’ll need no alterations whatsoever (I’m wearing ballet slippers so the length is even perfect!) if I go with a David’s Bridal wedding gown.

I would love to know the dimensions of thier sizing chart (the one that gives bust, waist, hip sizes for all of thier dress sizes) so I can compare that to other dress companies’ sizing charts. I do such a crappy job measuring myself so I figure this will be the best option as I am looking online alot for other options.
ALL of the dresses I tried on at DB’s fit perfectly at that one size so different designers didn’t seem to matter. Additionally, because dresses were fitting “off the rack”, the consultant didn’t even mention having to measure me at all.

What I know is they make their wedding dresses one size smaller. Example, if you are a size 4, you wouldn’t fit in a size 4, you have to go a size bigger. Or if you are a size 2, you have to wear a size 4. When it comes to dimensions such as bust, waist, and hip, I don’t think it’s given even if you check their catalog. I bought my wedding dress from there.

My suggestion, go back to David’s Bridal and bring your own tape measure. Check the circumference of the dress, like when checking the waist size, run your tape across the waist line to get the circumference and then multiply by 2, you get the dimension of the waist. Do the same thing with the bust and hips. That would give you an idea.

Hope that helps.
