How long does a David’s Bridal garment bag store a dress?

I recently purchased my wedding gown for my wedding that is in May 2011. (Yes, I know it’s way ahead of time, but the gown was being discontinued and I wanted it.) David’s Bridal gave me a garment bag to store my dress in. I was wondering how long my dress would stay fresh in that bag.

Hey, i just wanted to add that yes, the bag will preserve your dress until that awesome day… BUT.. be careful, because those bags are so cheap! Mine ripped if i moved it like an inch! i had a kinda poofy dress, so it may be different with yours, but i was just wanting to let you know that they will replace your bag if you have your receipt. i had to replace my bag FOUR times because it was so cheap and kept ripping!!! but my dress was fine! i loved it!!
