How should we talk about the bridal shower invitations?

My sister needs to know how to talk to my bridal shower invitations. I wanted a tea party at first because I wanted everyone to wear hats and dresses and commands. Well, I thought the tea was a bit unusual for a party in May at 2:00 So I said I want Pink Lemonade slush place and have a party of all things summer. The problem is that they always try to convince everyone to wear dresses cute summer with big hats. So we ask how we word the invitation to let people know we want.
