Wedding ceremony song?
Hi I am getting married in November of 2010 and my fiance and I are not much for traditional, so I need help deciding if the song I kind of want to use is a good choice and how to do the ceremony entrance. I am in love with Everything by lifehouse, but I don’t know how to use it. I would love to use the song from the very beginning and including the most powerful part of the song.
I figured it is a good song for the whole bridal party to walk to since it is so beautiful and meaningful. The only problem is when I want to walk down, I love the big chorus part – cause you’re all I want, you’re all i need, you’re everything – I am just worried that walking down then will be too big of a statement. soo help? Our wedding is outdoors on a dock right on the water facing the bay in Tampa, Florida. We have 7 guys and 7 girls in our bridal party, and 2 flower girls and 1 ring bearer.
There’s a great site for all kinds of ceremony music… www.ourweddingsongs.com if you’d like to take a look
.
The thing to remember about Processional Music is that it should have a definite beat and be easy to walk to. It should not overpower the bride, but rather complement her walk up the aisle. The bride’s music should be unique to her and should not be the same as the bridal party’s music.
Happy Weddings!
