Do you know a unique bridal shower game when the bride is opening gifts?

Hi! I’m planning my friend’s shower (I’m the MOH) and she’s a little unconventional, she also isn’t a fan of a ton of bridal shower games. However, I want to give the guests something to do while she’s opening gifts. Looking for something other than Bridal Bingo.. or a unique twist on it. Thanks for all your help!!
Thanks Everyone for such quick feedback! I LOVE the idea of the timer! I may do it as like a “countdown to the wedding date (also the 7th)” and it would just make things a little more exciting.

Went to a baby shower recently and the mom-to-be’s due date was on the 7th of the month so they set a timer for 7 minutes and every time the timer went off whomever gave the gift that was being opened got to pick a prize bag. Inside the prize bags were just like body lotions, bubble bath, etc. Just general things anyone would like.

It was a cute way to keep everyone entertained without a lot of cheesy party games. Maybe you could adapt that for the bridal party theme? Your prizes could also be adjusted, maybe household type things that anyone could use (new oven mitts, kitchen towels, spatulas, etc.) to reflect the “feathering your nest” theme of a bridal shower?
