Bachelorette Bridal Shower and ideas of interest?

My best friend got married and I am in charge of her bachelorette party and a funeral party. She said she does not want to go and celebrate your typical bachelorette party, so I thought maybe do something Lines to go wine tasting, shopping, etc need some ideas. The problem is we do not have anywhere to wine tasting. Does anyone know of anywhere near Chicago or St. Louis? Also for the bachelorette party she hates these people play games for showers, ideas to make this more fun??

I live in Milwaukee (one hour north of Chicago) – I do not want the typical single game either, and my bridesmaids had the idea of a dinner cruise Edelweiss part of the festivities of the night – only $ 20 per person, and 1.5 hours has unlimited margaritas and a taco bar while enjoying the views along the River. I'm sure as Chicago or St. Louis would have something similar – the line of river cruise has several other options – both less expensive and more formal (wine, etc.). My party is in fact on Saturday:) You can always consider a spa trip with some friends but can be costly – not sure of your budget. As for games – I agree on the cheese typical of the games but one bridesmaid found something sooo nice – you get some rings and some plastic bottles wine (can be cheap if you're on a budget) – the girls were throwing rings, and if you get x amount of rings around the neck of the bottle, the girl has to choose a bottle of wine at home.
