Finding a beautician for a Wedding is hard to do!?

I am searching for a beautician and a makeup artist to do the hair and makeup for my bridal party. I have found that for 9 people, including myself, it can cost as high as $4,000. It’s a little more expensive because I want them to do it from my home. What have been the price quotes you all have gotten for hair and makeup???

Wow! That is an insane price. Why can’t you use your regular hairstylist? If you make arrangements, there should be no reason they can’t come to your house. Same with a makeup artist. Many of them from the local dept stores also freelance and are able to come to your home if you make arrangements.

Also, the local boards at http://talk.theknot.com are a great source since many brides there are on budgets.
