long or short veil?

I want people to see back of my dress to choose from .. im 1) long veil is not ridiculous, but yes, and retire to the reception. 2) the short candle and keep it off, whatever choose the day that it would be better? I would make a good coat … dress is very funny. A long veil is so formal, I think they were fighting. and let at the reception …. just use once!
