Gifts for parents?

With gifts for your wedding, do you usually our parents a gift as well? If so, suggestions on this? (Side note: They have all helped to contribute to the wedding, but not pay for everything …)

It is traditional to give a little something to the parents. For mothers who have seen things like a handkerchief with a beautiful message on it … with tears at the ceremony. My parents did not contribute at all to my wedding, but I always bring a small sample of thanks for being there. I had these little silver keychain weddingchannel.com that open like a locket, and put a baby picture of me and my boyfriend each side. My girlfriend expecting after his marriage to give gifts. She created a hardcover book on shutterfly.com complete their wedding photos and a story that goes with it. Very cute.
