Are wedding clutches / purses common for the bride to the wedding day?

My next wedding begins at 4:30 pm, Sunday in June is formal, but not black tie and elegant. I have a beautiful wedding dress with a long tail. Is it common for the bride is a handbag? Do not have pictures of course but something to keep your makeup during the reception? Or it's in my mom's purse? I honestly never noticed while attending weddings. Thanks

It is not necessary, but if you can. You can get your mom or your maid of honor to lead its business unless the bag. I had one because the day before the wedding I saw one that satisfied my dress and it was cheap – so I bought it on the spot! Lol … is not necessary if – I put makeup etc there, but never use it! Do what you want.
